CDC Disease Detective Camp
Description: CDC Museum Disease Detective Camp (DDC) is an interdisciplinary educational program organized by the CDC Museum. DDC reflects the museum’s mission of educating the public about CDC’s work. This academic day camp is held at CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Admission is open to high-school students during the summer before their junior or senior years. Over the course of five days, campers are immersed in the diverse field of public health.

Emory University – Pre-College Program
Description: The Emory Pre-College Program (noncredit) offers students an opportunity to preview the best of college life: from compelling non-credit courses taught by renowned faculty to life on a vibrant campus, from becoming an active participant in the university, local, and global communities to developing friendships with other students from around the world. Emory Pre-College students will experience a challenging college-level academic course, but they will also gain exposure to other academic disciplines, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, and residential college life. Courses include business, sports medicine, drama, infectious diseases, law, media and politics, neuroscience, medical microbiology, pre-med, writing, cancer studies, psychology, economics, and forensics.

Description: The Summer Science Academy Program is a two-week science enrichment program that offers a series of lectures, labs, and field experiences for high school students. These "hands on" experiences are designed to heighten students' interest in science, increase awareness of careers in science and healthcare, and introduce and/or reinforce some principles of science.
